The new Youth Safety Victory Fund will deploy paid youth organizers to
competitive House districts nationwide, helping elect candidates who prioritize
a safer future free of gun violence
WASHINGTON, D.C., — Today, Brady PAC, the political arm of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence (“Brady”) – along with Brady’s Team ENOUGH youth-led initiative – announced a major strategic partnership with Blue Future to launch the Youth Safety Victory Fund ahead of the November 3rd midterm elections. The program will fund a nationwide network of paid youth organizers on college campuses and in key battleground districts, mobilizing young voters to elect federal candidates who will free America from gun violence.
The partnership reflects the commitment of all three organizations to sustained youth organizing and mobilization, not simply short-term turnout efforts.
The Youth Safety Victory Fund will support youth organizers in competitive House districts across the country where they will conduct peer-to-peer voter outreach on campuses and in surrounding communities, educate and mobilize young voters ahead of Election Day, and strengthen long-term civic engagement by youth beyond a single election cycle. Youth organizers through the Youth Safety Victory Fund will receive training, mentorship, and the tools necessary to build deeply-rooted organizing programs in the communities where elections are often decided.
“Young Americans consistently rank gun violence among the issues they care about most when they go to the ballot box, but too often, traditional methods of campaigning overlook them. Members of Generation Lockdown are among the most trusted and effective messengers in the fight for safer communities. When empowered with resources, they don’t just vote, they decide elections. Partnering with Blue Future allows us to invest in the next generation of leaders who will break the gridlock in Washington and end America’s gun violence epidemic once and for all,” said Brady PAC President Kris Brown.
“Young people have had ENOUGH. They are tired of living in fear of being shot and they are already leading the movement for change. By partnering with Brady PAC, we’re ensuring that they also have the resources to lead at the ballot box. This partnership isn’t just about winning a single election cycle; it’s about giving youth organizers the tools to build a safer future for themselves,” said Nick Guthman, Co-Founder and Co-President of Blue Future.
“Our generation has the most at stake in this election and the most power to change it. Every conversation, every mobilization, and every vote brings us closer to a future where gun violence doesn’t define our everyday lives. My generation didn’t create this crisis, but with the right support, we will be the ones to end it,” said Stephan Abrams, Team ENOUGH Organizing Manager.
The partnership expands on a highly successful youth organizing model deployed by Brady PAC, Blue Future, and Team ENOUGH volunteers during Virginia’s 2025 elections. By putting youth leaders at the center of voter outreach, the partner organizations helped deliver historic victories, electing 13 new gun violence prevention champions to the Virginia Assembly, which subsequently passed more than 20 gun safety laws in Virginia this year.
