WASHINGTON – Today, Brady PAC, the political arm of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, announced its endorsement of Whitney Fox for Florida’s Thirteenth Congressional District.
Fox, a mother of two who has long delivered for Pinellas County, has called for common-sense gun reforms including universal background checks, extreme risk protection orders to temporarily remove firearms from those who present a danger to themselves or others, and much more. By contrast, her opponent, Anna Paulina Luna, a particularly adept flamethrower, is most known for wearing an assault rifle lapel pin just 48 hours after a mass shooting in Lakeland, Florida.
“Whitney Fox has always stood up for what is right, and in Congress, she will stand for our families and our children by passing sensible gun reform,” stated Parkland dad and Brady PAC senior advisor Fred Guttenberg. “Pinellas County deserves a representative that they can be proud of, someone who will represent their right to stay alive.”
Founded in 2018, Brady PAC is dedicated to a singular goal: creating a safer America by supporting candidates who are committed to enacting, improving, and defending gun violence prevention policies across the country.
