Washington, D.C., June 6, 2023 – Brady PAC, the sister organization of Brady, one of the nation’s oldest gun violence prevention advocacy groups, announced today that it is endorsing Virginia Senate District 37 candidate Saddam Azlan Salim in the June 20 primary election. Saddam Azlan Salim has made it clear that as a State Senator, he would prioritize preventing gun violence, including banning assault weapons and expanding universal background checks in Virginia. Brady is one of the first national gun violence prevention organizations to endorse Salim.
