Brady PAC Endorses Frontline Champions Fighting for Safety We Deserve

National gun violence prevention PAC targets 11 high-stakes races to secure legislative majorities in 2026 Midterms

Today, Brady PAC, the political arm of the Brady Campaign (“Brady”), announced its endorsement of frontline candidates in the most competitive House and Senate races in the country. These 11 candidates have proven that they will stand up to the gun lobby and fight for the safety we deserve.

With communities nationwide devastated by gun violence, these bold leaders have continued to hold the line against the extremist policies of the Trump-Johnson-Thune majority that put children, families, and communities at risk. Once elected in new House and Senate gun violence prevention majorities this fall, they will act on common-sense gun reforms that ensure the safety of all Americans.

“It is a fundamental contradiction by the Trump-Johnson-Thune majority to champion ‘law and order’ while refusing to address the primary driver of childhood fatalities in America – guns. The congressional leaders we’re endorsing have proven that protecting their constituents means taking decisive action on gun violence prevention. The outcome of these 11 House and Senate races will decide if Congress finally takes the steps necessary to save lives,” said  Kris Brown, Brady PAC board chair and president of Brady.

“Frontline races are where the future of Americans’ safety will be determined. The victories of every one of these candidates is the only way to secure a Congress that fights for and believes in the future of our communities and families, not the corrupt, moneyed interests of America’s deadliest industry,” said Ashley Lantz, executive director of Brady PAC.

Brady PAC endorsed candidates support common-sense gun violence prevention measures championed by Brady, including universal background checks, secure firearm storage, and other policies supported by strong bipartisan majorities of voters.

The organization will deploy resources and provide tactical assistance strategically to help these candidates win their races and secure gun violence prevention governing majorities on Capitol Hill.
