Brady PAC Endorses Aaron Ford for Reelection as Nevada Attorney General

WASHINGTON – Brady PAC, the sister organization of Brady, the nation’s oldest gun violence prevention advocacy group, announced today their endorsement of Aaron Ford for reelection as Attorney General of Nevada.

Since taking office in 2019, Attorney General Ford has led the charge to enforce Nevada’s background check law; keep unserialized, untraceable, homemade ghost guns out of Nevada communities; and close the state’s gun show loophole.

“Aaron Ford is a tireless fighter for Nevada’s families, and he has taken bold and decisive action as Attorney General to help stem the gun violence epidemic,” said Brady PAC Deputy Executive Director Ashley Lantz. “We are honored to count on his continued leadership in the fight for safer communities, and we urge his reelection as Attorney General.”

“Nevadans know that gun safety isn’t a partisan issue — it’s an imperative that affects us all. As Attorney General, I’m committed to protecting the people of Nevada by investing in sound public safety measures,” Ford said. “Brady PAC shares our mission of making Nevada a safer place to live and has been a steadfast advocate for gun violence prevention. I’m proud to have their support in my critical re-election.”

About Brady PAC:

Based in Washington, DC, Brady PAC is dedicated to a singular goal: creating a safer America by supporting and investing in candidates who are committed to enacting, improving, and defending Gun Violence Prevention (GVP) policies across the country.

Formed leading up to the 2018 midterm elections, Brady PAC was created to serve as a counterweight to “dark money” Super PACs created by the gun industry lobby. It upholds the policy ideals that have been championed by its sister organization, Brady — one of the nation’s oldest gun violence prevention grassroots advocacy organizations.
